The Team

Hey everyone! We’re Otherhood Studios!

We’re a group of five young adults currently based in the bustling heart of Metro Manila, all currently studying Multimedia Arts at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. As a team, we’re passionate about creating meaningful work, and when the time came to decide on a topic for our thesis, one thing was clear: we wanted to create something that would uplift and empower women.

How it came about…

During our brainstorming sessions, countless ideas came and went, but one resonated with all of us—being child-free. It’s a topic that hits close to home because, as young adults, we’ve had these very thoughts ourselves. Some of us see kids in our future; others don’t, and a few are still figuring it out. What we realized is that these questions aren’t just personal—they’re universal. And yet, the conversation around choosing to be child-free is often met with stigma, silence, or judgment.

That’s why we decided to dive headfirst into this topic. We wanted to explore what it truly means to be childfree, to learn from the experiences of those who’ve made this choice, and to create something that could guide and support others navigating these same questions. Through this project, we hope to foster understanding, break down societal expectations, and remind everyone that your path is yours to define.
